STAR ATTRACTION HEADS FOR NATION’S CAPITAL

Golf fans, food lovers and family thrill-seekers are in for some excitement next week when one of Indonesia’s premier sporting events gets underway from 6th to 9th October.

The BNI Indonesian Masters presented by Zurich promises visitors to the Royale Jakarta Golf Club four days of top quality action on course and a feast of entertainment for the whole family off it.

FORE!

The tournament welcomes three of the biggest names on the Asian golf circuit, in Australia’s Marcus Fraser, India’s Anirban Lahiri and Thailand’s Thongchai Jaidee. The trio will go up against some of the brightest talents in the Indonesian game including George Gandranata and Danny Masrin as they compete for a share of the US$ 750,000 purse over four days of stroke-play golf.

And if that wasn’t enough to get the blood pumping, the tournament will see big hitting former Long Drive champion, Jamie Sadlowski make his tournament debut in Indonesia. The 28-year-old Canadian regularly drives over 400 yards and is sure to be a crowd pleaser with his epic shots.

FOOD GLORIOUS FOOD

Off course, spectators can look forward to a four-day gastronomic feast complete with food trucks and stalls, offering a range of authentic Indonesian and International cuisine and other culinary delights.

TV personality, host and chef extraordinaire Farah Quinn will be looking to cook up a storm with her signature dish – Rose Tea Pudding with Vanilla Cream dish, made solely using home-grown Indonesian ingredients. Comprising Rose tea with ginger crust and vanilla seeds, it is billed as a ‘tribute to older times’ and will see a traditional long-forgotten recipe given a modern twist.

FUN, FUN, FUN

And if anyone needed reminding that the BNI Indonesian Masters presented by Zurich is very much a family affair, the Kidszone will provide day-long entertainment to keep the children occupied while the serious business is going on out on course.

Kids will be able to choose from a wide variety of fun activities including statue painting, bouncy castles, kinetic sand and Famingo golf-putting.

And if that wasn’t enough to keep the little ones entertained, the team from Indonesia Freestyle Golf will be treating spectators to daily golf-trick shows that are sure to leave spectators of all ages spell-bound with their mastery of the game.

Come and join the fun!
